Chapter 7
Where is it written
The sealing of the 144,000
The 144,000 Witnesses
of the Tribulation
In the time of Jesus’ first coming, the twelve disciples were a type of “special forces” for spreading the truths of the kingdom. After three and a half years of training with Jesus, the disciples were used by God to spread the good news of the gospel to all the world. They fought the darkness with the truth and caused a great revival and expansion of the Christian faith.

But the book of Revelation tells us of another special forces, a vast “army” of 144,000 young Jewish men. They have a special relationship with the Lamb and they are sealed with a special name (The name of God). They also sing a special song. The 144,000 are very important because they are commissioned with the greatest mission in the last days: to prepare the world for Jesus’ Second Coming.

The scriptures tell us that these young men are sealed with the seal of God, which is the name of God, we are not told which name or maybe even a new name of God is used. The tribulation period is characterized by a seal and a mark (666). Both of these are said to be in the forehead (the make of the beast can also be given in the top of the hand) and they show ownership, by the one who the making is of. There is to be no secret followers.

Those who take the mark of the beast may enjoy a season of normalcy in their lives, but they are considered "Walking Dead," referring to their eternal state upon their death. For those who have not sworn allegiance to the Antichrist and have not taken his make, but rather chose the sealing of the Messiah who is Jesus. They may face death and certain persecution, but their future is secure in that heavenly place Jesus went to prepare for them, they will see Heaven.
